Television

  1. How often do you watch television? Why/Why not?

I watch television almost every day, especially in the evenings. It helps me relax after a long day and keeps me entertained with various shows and movies.

  2. Which television channel do you usually watch? Why?

I usually watch a channel that features documentaries and educational programs. I enjoy learning about different cultures, science, and history, so this channel provides content that aligns with my interests.

  3. Do you enjoy the advertisements on television? Why/Why not?

I don’t particularly enjoy advertisements, as they can interrupt my viewing experience. However, I appreciate creative ads that are entertaining or informative, as they can sometimes introduce me to new products or services.

  4. Do you think most programs on television are good? Why/Why not?

I think there is a mix of good and not-so-good programs on television. While many shows are well-produced and offer quality content, there are also plenty of reality shows and low-quality programs that don’t add much value.

Part 2 (Long Turn / Cue Card)

Describe a Friend of Your Family

One memorable friend of my family from my childhood was Mr. Ahmed. He was a close friend of my parents, and they met during college.

Mr. Ahmed would visit our house quite often, especially on weekends, when we would all gather for meals or celebrations. He was always cheerful and had great stories to share, making those gatherings lively.

I remember Mr. Ahmed fondly because he would play games with us kids and treat us like his own. He had a unique way of connecting with everyone, which made him a beloved figure in our family. His kindness and sense of humor left a lasting impression on me, and I still think of him whenever I recall my childhood memories.
